Call For Abstracts
DEADLINE FOR RECEIPT OF ABSTRACTS - 1st June 2012.
Abstracts will be invited for poster presentation.
All abstracts will undergo peer review by the Abstract Review Committee and may be accepted for poster presentation or rejected. A selection of the best posters in each category will be invited to give a short oral presentation as part of the poster discussion sessions.
Only abstracts of authors who have paid their registration fee for the full Congress will be scheduled for presentation and included in the Programme and Abstract CD Rom.
RULES FOR SUBMISSION
All abstracts must be submitted and presented in clear English with accurate grammar and spelling of a quality suitable for publication. If you need help, please arrange for the review of your abstract by a colleague who is a native English speaker, by a university scientific publications office (or other similar facility) or by a copy editor, prior to submission.
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
Before you begin, please prepare the following information:
- Presenting author's contact details, including:
- Email address
- Full postal address
- Contact telephone number
- Author and co-authors' details, including full first and family name(s) and affiliation details: institution / hospital
- Abstract title - limited to 140 charcters (approximately 20 words)
- Abstract text – limited to 2100 characters (approx 300 words)
- No tables, graphs or images should be included in the abstract.
- Please note that abstracts must be SUBMITTED before the deadline in order to be sent to review for inclusion in the Scientific Program.
CONFLICT OF INTEREST
The Congress requires that audiences at this educational programme be informed of a presenter’s academic and professional affiliations, as well as other commercial relationships relevant to the content of the material that is presented. This policy allows the listener/attendee to be fully informed regarding any possible conflict of interest in evaluating the information being presented. These situations may include, but are not limited to 1) stock options or bond holdings, 2) research grants, 3) employment (full or part time), 4) ownership or partnership, 5) consulting fees or other remuneration received by the presenter or his/her immediate family, 6) non-remunerative positions. Authors must state any commercial interest relevant to the content that is being presented, including the names of relevant individuals.
